Bar-Restaurant Concept Development

The challenge here was to develop a concept for a beer brand that would open its brewery alongside a bar and restaurant for customers. Although the brewery would be located in a sparsely populated region of Brazil, the area is rich in culture and artisanal products. Surrounding towns also have their own craft breweries; it’s a strong and competitive market in the state.

In this case, the brand already had some assets in development, such as a logo, color palette, and an architectural project that wouldn’t be redesigned. So this wasn’t about creating a new brand or rebranding; it was about finding how to translate what already existed into a bar and restaurant experience that truly reflected the brand and stood out in the region.

To achieve that, we immersed ourselves in the essence of the family behind the brand: Italian roots, a deep love for the brewing process, a passion for experimentation, and the joy of enjoying their creations by the seaside. From that, we developed a concept that would guide the detailing of architecture, interior design, stationery, uniforms, and even menu suggestions that fit both the concept and the limited kitchen space.

The result was a bar with Italian roots, but far from the obvious checkered tablecloths and pasta dishes. Instead, it embraces cicchetti: simple, easy-to-prepare small plates that can change and pair perfectly with the brewery’s ongoing experiments. It’s an Italy by the sea, carrying the breeze and lightness this family loves so much.

At Arribada, we know that not every business starts by ticking all the marketing boxes. We’re here to understand your business, identify what’s essential for your brand to thrive, and build upon what makes it truly authentic.
